These terms apply to the oldyak application.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of oldyak (the "Service"), a publishing tool for creators of short-form video. By connecting an account to the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service publishes video files and their associated metadata to channels that you connect and authorize. It supports publishing to YouTube and TikTok. It does not host video, it does not provide a player, and it does not operate a public social network of its own — it is a tool that works with platforms you already use.

2. Your account and your authorization

• You must hold a valid account on each platform you connect, and you must have the right to publish to that account.
• You authorize the Service through each platform's official authorization flow. You may revoke that authorization at any time from your platform account settings.
• You are responsible for keeping your own credentials, devices and connected accounts secure.

3. Your content

• You keep all rights to the video, audio, images, text and other material you publish through the Service ("Your Content").
• You are solely responsible for Your Content, and you confirm that you own it or otherwise have all rights needed to publish it.
• You must not use the Service to publish material that infringes anyone else's rights, that is unlawful, or that violates the rules of the platform you are publishing to.
• The Service does not claim any ownership over Your Content and does not use it for any purpose other than carrying out the publication you asked for.

4. AI-generated content

The Service is designed for creators who produce AI-assisted material. Where a platform requires disclosure that content is synthetic or AI-generated, the Service sets that disclosure on the content it publishes. You remain responsible for the accuracy of that disclosure and for complying with the platform's policies on synthetic media.

5. Platform terms also apply

When you publish through the Service, you are also using the platform you publish to, and that platform's own terms and policies apply to your use of it. Nothing in these Terms replaces or overrides those.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• publish content you do not have the rights to publish;
• impersonate another person or organization;
• distribute spam, malware, or deliberately misleading material;
• attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours;
• interfere with, reverse-engineer for abuse, or overload the Service or any connected platform.

7. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Publications depend on third-party platforms and may fail or be delayed because of changes, outages, rate limits or policy decisions on their side. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, audience, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

The Service may change over time, and these Terms may be updated. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated date at the bottom. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may revoke its access to your accounts from your platform account settings. We may suspend or end access to the Service if these Terms are breached.
